How we build workshops

Start with broken things

Every workshop begins with something slow, failing, or inefficient. You don't watch us fix it. You dig into logs, check metrics, form hypotheses, and test solutions. Most sessions start with "why is this taking 4 seconds?" not "here's how monitoring works."

Real tools, not tutorials

We use the same monitoring stack, profilers, and dashboards you'd encounter at work. Prometheus, Grafana, browser DevTools, APM platforms. You configure alerts that actually fire, write queries that return useful data, and interpret graphs that look messy.

Mistakes are expected

You'll set thresholds wrong. You'll miss obvious bottlenecks. You'll create dashboards that show everything except what matters. That's the point. We build time into every exercise for confusion, backtracking, and trying a different approach when the first one fails.
